While this trip was not a typical vacation, as I had an interview and although that job was ultimately not for me, I made sure to seize the opportunity to indulge in the local cuisine. On a personal note, Napa has different weather than my home in the Central Valley of California and I was ready to embrace it in such a beautiful area. With an outside patio, I happily soaked up the sun and breeze. Why is this important? Locals might have found this weather chilly as I was the only one outside! So who personally served and checked on me throughout my indulgence? One of the amazing owners! I had no idea until right before leaving, Irma was so humble and down-to-earth.
